The 12-year-old Julyvonne (Philomène Bilodeau) is not a normal child. Denis Côté is not exactly known for being more readily accessible films. Nevertheless Curling could compared to his other works are more suitable for the mass, but thanks to the fact that he wakes up on a content as on a formal level associations with Fargo . On the one hand, the number of morbid and bizarre plot elements, on the other hand, it takes place in a snowy, remote suburban area. Much more common are there but not as Fargo course, much more of the classic Hollywood narrative structure is required.

Côté contrast tells his film in a very few, very long shots. These are then usually very static and quiet, so they could count the beginning without any problems. Also stands out from the beginning of the artistic intention to portray loneliness and isolation, as if on an icy road appears in an endless field of snow, the film title. Whom the disgusting "Germany" bawling these days and the Verschandlung von Gebäuden, Autos und Menschen mit schwarz-rot-golden Lappen aller Art stört sei auf das, bereits 2006 entstandene Filmprojekt "Vergessene Fahnen" von Florian Thalhofer und Juliane Henrich hingewiesen.

Diese reisten damals durch das Land und interviewten verschiedene Menschen zur ihrer Motivation die "Deutschland" - Fahne zu zeigen bzw. auch nach der Fussball-WM nicht mehr abzunehmen, sowie ihrem Verhältnis zu Deutschland.

Der Spiegel fand es ja im übrigen gar nicht lustig, traute seinen LeserInnen aber auch nicht zu das Video direkt zu sehen und zu beurteilen. Stattdessen wird nur ein Bildausschnitt gezeigt, in dem der Untertitel: "The IDF is Jack the Ripper" zu sehen ist, also der Zusammenhang verzerrt wird. Peinlich, wenn im gleichen Artikel die Entstehung und Verbreitung des Videos als " Propaganda-Lapsus (...) finanziert durch konservative (n) amerikanischen Think-Thank " beschrieben wird.

Jeder und Jede die sich ein paar Jahre in Antifagruppen abgequält hat weiß um die mühseligen Diskussions- und Entscheidungsprozesse die dann in Pamphlete münden wie es jetzt die so genannte „Antifaschistische Linke Berlin“ zu den Protesten gegen den Neo-Nazi Aufmarsch am 13. Februar in Dresden veröffentlicht hat. Siehe Antifa-Auswertung Dresden 2010 . Alle Zitate sind dem Text entnommen.


Es sagt einiges über das Interesse und, in diesem Fall hoffentlich, über den Zustand der Organisation aus, wenn mehr als drei Monate benötigt werden um ein Urteil über die eigenen Aktivitäten zu verfassen. Entschuldigend heißt also zu Beginn: „ better late than never “ und es wird deshalb gleich ein Ausblick auf das nächste Jahr, respektive die „Großereignisse“ versprochen.

Das komplette Geschwätz über die „ Organisierung “ und die „ Entscheidungen unserer Gruppe und der assoziierten Strukturen “ ist für die Tonne, allerdings wird eine „ politische Bewertung “ versprochen.

Die ALB konstatiert 2009 einen Wandel in der Gegenmobilisierung (gegen den Naziaufmarsch). Weshalb? „ Der bewegungsorientierte Charakter der „NoPasaran!“ - Mobilisierung machten Mut “ dem, man höre und staune, ein „ Ausbruch aus Dresdner scene lethargy preceded.
