Thursday was previously canceled due to bad weather via the Internet. Also Friday, the Prognossen extremely modest. The organizers tried but rooms still add a passage, but was unfortunately not so well on Friday gabs not run.
Then the Saturday - a day of hope according to report read. And it looked not bad in the morning as slowly but surely more and more pilots eintrudelten the tent at the landing site. Previously driveway to the launch site and early start was planned. At 11:30
clock was then the window at a 71 km task for Schmitt height and back on. But it quickly became apparent that an early start brought no benefits. The thermal was noticeably weaker and more and more pilots were surviving in height around the launch site.
The object was sharp from 12:15
was this I still start late (almost an hour after the first) right up there. The thermals but was not much better - it was a tough fight for every meter increase, most ended the same drinking it again. It also caught
even at the Thurn Pass crossing a large part of the pilots. A few pilots managed just over Mittersill - many Standen Mittersill, as I did on the ground.
:-) And it did not succeed in the allotted time, but nevertheless: Chrigel followed by Heli Eichholzer Schalber and Alex managed the incredible and actually follow the Task home to the finish. Christoph Trutmann followed the three and unfortunately had to end, only not quite enough height so he had to land just before the finish at the last buoy. A performance
madness these 4 pilots.
:-) BUT - the team Spälti was again well represented and had 5 drivers in this championship at the start:
series class:
first Place Stephan Gruber
5th Helmut Dersch place
5th Place Valeri Regehr
17th Place Martin Petz
19th Place Stefan Sindelka
And after was not flyable weather, unfortunately, on Sunday, was the score of this one race and the entire state and thus again a great result for the Spälti team in the state championship in Bramberg
Greetz - Heli
Ps if someone would have pictures of the championship, I'd be very happy about it - please just bring it on!
